We stayed at the Prima Kings Hotel, which was a walk to the the old city where we spent Shabbat at the Kotel (Western Wall) as well as the walking mall on Ben Yehuda.

2nd day in Jerusalem we went to the Israel Museum where there were collections ranging from prehistoric archaeology through contemporary art and with a dynamic roster of temporary exhibitions, publications, and educational activities.  While Rachel and the Kids went to the children's museum, Alan and Carol went through the archaeological wing.  Then we all met to view the model of the old city of Jerusalem and the Shrine of the book where the Dead Sea Scroll exhibit is housed.

The last day in Jerusalem (was also one of our last in Israel) had Alan going to Yad Vashem while Rachel, Carol, and the kids went to the Biblical Zoo....after that, a night of World Cup with dinner and we headed back the next morning......
